Creating a unified language
NADL aims to promote the use of a common sign language to enhance the ability of Deaf people in Lesotho to communicate both with each other and with the hearing community.
Different forms of sign language have emerged in Lesotho making it difficult for Deaf people in different regions to communicate with each other.
NADL is working towards the development and recognition of one unified national sign language.
